About Researcher Stories
We started it because the most persuasive thing anyone can hear is what happened to someone like them. Not a label, not an ad. A person who was tired of feeling stuck, what they changed, and the ordinary day they realized it had worked. So that is what we publish.
Editorial standards
- Composite stories are labelled. Many stories combine real situations with invented names and personal details, so no real person is exposed. Every one of those carries a note at the top saying so.
- People speak for themselves. These are personal experiences, told by the people who lived them or combined into composites. They are individual, and nothing here is medical advice.
- Reader stories are marked. A story shared by a real reader says so at the top. Composite stories say so too.
- Reader stories are published with permission. We edit for length and for the standards above, and we never publish a submission without the writer’s consent.
